THE TECHNICAL STUFF

TYPES OF PETS: We primarily work with dogs, but we welcome all types of pets! Feathers, fur, scales or skin, we love them all! As long as they can fit in the studio they’re good to go!

NUMBER OF PETS: All the packages are for 1 pet. Additional pets can be added to the session, it is $50 for each additional pet.

EDITED PHOTOS: We edit all our clients photos in house. The edited photos are web-sized digital images, they are not print quality, but are suitable to share online or viewing on your phone or computer.

“DANGEROUS BREEDS”: We accept all types of dogs and don’t discriminate based on breed or looks. Pit bulls, rotties, dobes, GSD’s etc… are all welcome!

BACKGROUND COLOUR: All packages include 1 background colour of your choice. The colours available for your shoot may change without notice. You can add 1 extra background colour to your shoot for $50. If you have your heart set on a colour we don’t have, we may be able to bring it in for you, but there is a $100 fee.

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATIONS: All shoots require a $100 non refundable deposit at the time of booking to hold your session. The deposit will be subtracted from the total and your balance is due the day of your shoot. Shoots can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the start time of your appointment. If rescheduled less than 48 hours before the start of your shoot the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will need to be paid to rebook your session. If Kapture 9 has to reschedule your shoot the deposits will transfer to the new date. We understand that emergencies happen, if they do arise we will do our best to reschedule your session.

PHOTO PRINTING: All prints are made by printers that are geared towards professional photographers. We work with companies that use the best printers and ensure colour accuracy. They are high quality prints and products. We require our clients print through us to make sure your prints are the best quality. There are other photo printers out there that are lower cost, but they sacrifice quality and don’t accurately produce photographs to our standard. We want to ensure you are getting the best artwork of your pet possible!

COPYRIGHT: Kapture 9 Studios owns the copyright to all images. All created photographs are protected by the Canada Copyright Act. It is illegal to print, distribute, copy, scan, edit or reproduce photographs or digital images created without the written consent of the photographer. We reserve the right to use photographs from your session for advertising, display, website promotion, photographic contests, publications, or any other purposes chosen by Kapture 9 Studios. We retain copyright ownership of all works created in the course of this contract, including but not limited to all images in their original and processed formats. It is understood that any duplication or alteration of original images is strictly prohibited without our written permission. Alterations include, but are not limited to, application of filters or modifications of any kind. Cropping is acceptable for social media purposes, such as Facebook profile photos and square Instagram posts. If any of these actions are performed, we reserve the right to contact you and request the photo(s) be removed as they would no longer be accurate representations of our work.

SAFETY: You assume all responsibility for your pets and any other subjects during the shoot, including any and all destruction of personal, business or public property, personal injury or illegalities. Please beware of your pet(s), their behavior and limitations before bringing them to the studio. Please disclose any behavioural or aggression issues before the shoot, as well as any allergies your pet may have. Kapture 9 Studios reserves to right to cancel the shoot if we experience inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behavior from person(s) or the PET(S) or in the event that our safety is in question.
